Miss October 1995 Alicia Rickter is a milestone Playmate. The Long Beach, California, native’s pictorial was billed as the 500th Playmate of the Month. However, people later realized that Miss February 1954 Margaret Scott and Miss April 1954/1955 Marilyn Waltz were the same person. So while Alicia was promoted as the 500th Playmate, she actually was the 499th.
Before appearing in Playboy Alicia attended Cal State, Long Beach. She studied psychology and art in college. She described her Playmate experience as a “thought experiment” to answer the question, “How far should a woman push her sexuality?” While at Cal State, Long Beach she didn’t tell anyone that she was a model or a Playmate. She said, “I just want to be Alicia the student.”
After her Playboy pictorial Alicia continued her modeling career. She worked for Levi’s and other major North American brands. She also traveled around Europe and Japan to pursue a number of opportunities. She eventually ended up on a series of episodes for The Price is Right.
Alicia began acting professionally shortly after appearing in Playboy. Her first credit was the TV series Unhappily Ever After. She later landed a recurring role as lifeguard trainee Carrie Sharp on Baywatch. She earned some recognition for that role, which led to a small part in the movie Buying the Cow with Jerry O’Connell and Ryan Reynolds. She also played a recurring character on the soap opera The Young and the Restless.
While on Baywatch Alicia met Major League Baseball player Mike Piazza. They soon began a relationship and in 2005 were married in Miami. Their wedding featured Alicia’s fellow Baywatch actress and Playmate Brande Roderick. Alicia and Piazza have two daughters together, Nicoletta and Paulina.
In 2012 Alicia made headlines for accusing former Major League pitcher Roger Clemens of using steroids during the 2000 World Series. During that postseason Clemens famously beaned Alicia’s future husband Piazza and later threw part of a broken bat in his direction.
