About Alyssa Arcè
Alyssa Arcè was Playboy’s Miss July 2013. Alyssa, who told Playboy that her father is Honduran, was born and raised in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Alyssa always has been comfortable on camera. She was only 4 years old when she appeared on the cover of On the Beach magazine. When she was 18 she went to an open call, signed with Wilhelmina Models and started modeling professionally. After high school she moved to Miami, and her career took off.
Alyssa is a successful model. She’s done it all, from runway to editorial, but she confessed to being “a little bit nervous” about posing for Playboy, which only makes her human. Still, she overcame those fears. “I’m officially a Playmate,” she said with an irrepressible grin. “People used to tell me that I should pose for Playboy, and here I am.” Playboy opened doors for Alyssa. She went on to shoot with acclaimed photographer Terry Richardson for Lui magazine. She says her celebrity doppelganger is Blake Lively, and it doesn’t require a stretch of the imagination to see how she arrived at that conclusion.
Alyssa was excited to have the opportunity to drive a Ferrari during her Playboy shoot. Her ideal man has a nice set of wheels. She told Playboy she’s turned on by “a very sexual, stylish, tattooed bad boy with a hot ride.” This perhaps explains why she’s been linked romantically to Fisker Karma owner Justin Bieber. Her turnoffs, she said, include closed-minded, arrogant men who don’t know how to respect a girl. Alyssa loves to banter, so she warns, “Don’t be too sensitive.”
The down-to-earth Alyssa describes herself as a simple Southern girl. “I’m a tomboy,” she said. “I love cars and four-wheelers.” She grew up playing soccer and likes to kick the ball around whenever she gets a chance. She’s also passionate about traveling, hanging out on the beach and spending time with her friends and her animals. She’s interested in doing more TV work, whether it’s hosting or acting. We have a feeling Alyssa will have cameras pointed in her direction for many years to come.
