Playboy’s Miss June 1992 Angela Melini was born in Saigon, Vietnam, to a Vietnamese mother and an Italian-American father. Her father was a soldier and was killed in action during the Vietnam War before Angela and her twin brother were born. She and her mother immigrated to the United States and settled in Washington state. Angela has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Washington.
She told Playboy in a 1992 interview, “I’m the ultimate romantic. I love beach walks, sunsets, love songs, soft kisses.” Angela described her dream man for us: “He’s a little older than me, a little taller than me, has the sweetest smile and sexiest eyes.” Her dream date would start with “roses, dinner, dancing and a roller coaster ride,” and then later he would “put on soft music, turn the lights down low, and give me a neck massage. Then, well, use your imagination.”
Her biggest turnoff? Bikini briefs. She also told Playboy, “I’m not impressed with money and all that flash. Just be yourself.” After appearing in Playboy, Angela went on to do several Playboy videos and worked as a host for Playboy TV. She discovered Destiny Davis, Playboy’s Miss January 2005.
