Australian authorities say over $900 million worth of liquid methylamphetamine was found inside silicon push up bra inserts which were being imported from Hong Kong. The discovery, which lead to the arrest of four Hong Kong passport holders, is the largest meth bust (get it) in Australian history.
“This largest seizure of liquid methylamphetamine to date is the result of organized criminals targeting the lucrative Australian ice market from offshore,” Justice Minister Michael Keenan said.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Australia’s drug slag, “ice” is a commonly used term for meth. Just ask this confused Australian grandmother…
Police, who also found the liquid drug hidden in a batch of art supplies, recovered an additional 4.4 pounds of crystallized meth. If convicted, the four men who were arrested could end up with life in prison.
