Amy Schumer Puts on the Princess Leia Slave Costume for GQ

Amy Schumer is everywhere these days. If you haven’t caught her hit Comedy Central show Inside Amy Schumer, or at least seen bits and sketches from it circling around the web, then you must be living under a rock. She’s also the star of the highly anticipated comedy Trainwreck, which she wrote and is directed by none of than the legendary Judd Apatow.

To be honest, I find Amy a little bit forced. It’s like everything she does and says is raunchy just for the sake of being raunchy. I get the whole “I’m a girl, I’m not supposed to say these things but I am so deal with it!” thing, but I just get the feeling she does it too purposefully. It’s like making people uncomfortable is more important than good comedy. On the other hand, if Judd Apatow co-signs her, as well as her co-stars Bill Hader and LeBron James, then she gets a pass in my books. I’ll have a better opinion after seeing Trainwreck, which I have high hopes for.

In the most recent issue of GQ, Amy shoots on an array of topic. Almost as interesting as her colorful story, is the photoshoot that accompanies it. In it, Amy takes on the world of Star Wars. Only, you know, what that classic Amy Schumer touch to it. Check her out sucking on a light saber, having a threesome with R2D2 and C3P0 (I could swear C3PO was gay), and burlesque dancing with some Storm Troopers.
