Yesterday, Amy Schumer posted a selfie, dressed in only an orange sports bra, as a way of calling attention to Gun Violence Awareness Day. “Wear Orange” is the awareness campaign’s slogan and, as Schumer knows, nothing makes it into the news cycles faster than a scantily clad selfie.

But that wasn’t her lone post or an off-hand gesture. Schumer is a known advocate for gun rights, which is why she posted six orange-themed post for Gun Violence Awareness Day, including this one.

The two Schumer refers to in the caption is Mayci Breaux and Jillian Johnson, the two victims of the Lafayette theater shooting that took place during a showing of Schumer’s movie Trainwreck. The deaths have weighed on the comedian in the months since, driving her advocacy.

Among the many other celebrities that wore orange yesterday were Julianne Moore, Spike Lee, and Ron Howard.
