An Armored Vehicle Company Tested Its Product By Shooting At Its CEO In An SUV

There is standing behind your product and then there is this. Texas Armoring Corporation manufacturers armored cars and bulletproof vehicles in Texas, as the name implies. To prove the “everything’s bigger in Texas” theory, the company created a product demonstration video to show how well its products work. But instead of just shooting at an empty car, TAC decided to put President and CEO Trent Kimball inside the Mercedes SUV as another employee shot at it with an AK-47.

It’s hard to imagine any job that is worth willingly getting shot at, but props to Kimball, I guess. In the video, you can see him death-gripping the steering wheel, probably thinking to himself, “I better get a huge friggin’ bonus for this.”

The sound of the bullets hitting the Benz from the outside is deafening, but from the cockpit they register as a dull thud. Still, we bet Kimball needed a change of underwear afterward. Also, way to ruin a perfectly good Mercedes.
