AT&T’s Ad from 1993 Predicted Numerous Technological Advances We Can Now Do Just on Our Phones

Back in 1993 AT&T did a series of ads from a Newsweek CD-ROM that suggested what technology in the future might be like. Some of them are accurate, but others are pretty hilarious now. The idea of getting a magazine sent to you in CD-ROM format with sponsored ads definitely doesn’t seem like the most effective way of moving a product. It’s like a bizarre dystopia.
