In a weekend full of killer college football, there were two memorable plays that will likely make their way into a good amount of water cooler talk come Monday, but not because they were amazing. In fact, they were pretty bad, and they were both punts.
First, there was Idaho State’s low kick on Friday. A rugby style kick, the punt was so low that it barreled right into Boise State.
And then there was Kent State’s punt today, which went high before bouncing backward right through one of their own, ultimately making it all of two yards.
