Porcao spares you the indignity of having to choose a single cut of meat, by bringing them all—sirloin, ribs, filet, flank. The meat is grilled to Brazilian perfection, shaved tableside and served continuously until you tell them to stop. There’s a great buffet with salads, black beans, fried yucca and breaded bananas to accompany your beef. But don’t tarry there long, you are here for the picanha—slow-grilled rump meat, glazed with fat and rock salt and imbued with a gaucho-ness that can’t be found in frilly, chain steak houses.
