The Chicago Cubs’ World Series win, 108 years in the making, had everybody feeling their feelings last night. And one of the people feeling it the most was perennial icon of American joy Bill Murray.

Murray began his Cubs magic by giving a ticket to a woman who happened to spot him walking into the stadium. Karen Michel soon found herself sitting next to a variety of celebrity Cubs fans, including Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder.

As if this wasn’t enough, Bill was caught in top form by several cameras after the game. He interviewed Cubs players, swigged from a bottle of champagne and even ensured that said bottle was recycled by a randomly selected do-gooder in the press corps.

Can someone get a petition to rename the team to the Chicago Spacklers?
