This morning, Sony announced that they will be releasing an action-centric Ghostbusters — potentially starring Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt — as a counterpart to director Paul Feig’s more female-focused flick as part of an initiative to turn Ghostbusters into its own cinematic universe.

Ghostbusting experts Ivan Reitman and Dan Aykroyd will lead the project, while Channing Tatum will produce as well as star in the upcoming film. They’re currently eying the Russo Brothers (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) to direct and Iron Man 3’s Drew Pierce to write. There’s also rumors that the film is based on Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt’s real-life friendship… so clearly he is also being considered.

And they’re not stopping at the big screen either, “We want to expand the Ghostbusters universe in ways that will include different films, TV shows, merchandise, all things that are part of modern filmed entertainment.” Reitman told Deadline.

Now just think about how awesome the updated version of the theme song is going to be!
