Whereas the townships across the U.S. offer up a spectrum of “the world’s largest” (lightbulb, baseball bat, ball of twine, etc), the Chinese village of Luoyuan approaches tourism in a different, much more stylish way. The community’s elders hired street artists to come in and ornament their town with vibrant 3D frescos to welcome and entrance travelers.
