Super-mogul, super-mom, and supermodel Cindy Crawford is has clearly mastered the art of “doing it all.” Now seemingly adding super-chef to her set of talents, Crawford is cooking up a storm, all in the name of charity.
As exhibited in the past, partial sales from the burger will benefit charity. Her conconction is “Cindy’s Casa Burger,” part of the Umami Artist Series, from which $1 per burger sold will benefit UW Health Kids, for the American Family Children’s Hospital.
Crawford describes the burger in full. It includes two jalapeno studded beef patties with miso-mustard, American cheese, crushed avocado, fresh tomato, butter lettuce, caramelized onions, tortilla chips with spicy sauce, queso fresco, and, of course, as Crawford states, “what’s a burger without special sauce.”
A longer version of the video shows Crawford preparing and serving burgers in the kitchen.
Crawford, who comically questions, “who says models don’t eat,” licks her fingers and taste-tests her work.
Just a few days ago, Umami teased the burger, providing up close views of the delicacy.
Naturally, it’s “perfectly paired” with a “Spicy Casamigos Margarita,” a special drink from Rande Gerber (Crawford’s husband) tequila brand Casamigos, which was created especially for the project. Proceeds from drink sales will also benefit the charity. The Spicy Casamigos Margarita features lime juice, orange juice, simple syrup, PAMA, pepper, Mezcal Cointreau foam, and of course, Casamigos Blanco.
Clearly Crawford is enjoying her time in the kitchen. This weekend, Crawford’s children, currently models in their own right, Kaia and Presley, were able to enjoy waffles for breakfast, courtesy of their stylish mother.
Here is a flashback image of the siblings, way back when:
