Classic games are notoriously difficult by today’s standards, mostly because many were designed to separate game-loving, arcade-going children from as many quarters as possible.

But with “Impossible” modes all the rage these days, Dorkly went ahead and extrapolated what “impossible” would look like in games such as Pac-Man, Harvest Moon, Sonic the Hedgehog and others.

The results might be enough to induce gamer trauma, although a Sonic-meets-GTA title could actually be weirdly fun, as long as Sonic gets to drive a tank and fight back.
