Having trouble getting it up? If you don’t want to be like the estimated 30 million American men who suffer from erectile disfunction, there might be a really simple way to drastically cut your chances of developing it.

Coffee. That’s it. Researches at University of Texas Health Science Center conducted a study looking at the connection between coffee intake and erectile disfunction, and the results are rather surprising.

The researches took a look at the connection between caffeine and ED in men who are either overweight, obese, hypersensitive or diabetic. The study found that, with the exception of diabetics, men who consumed the equivalent of 2-3 cups of coffee a day were far less likely to report experiencing ED than those who drank little to no coffee.

It seems that men who consumed 85 to 170 milligrams of caffeine day were 42 percent less likely to experience erectile disfunction, while those drank 171 to 303 milligrams of caffeine were 39 percent less likely to experience ED.

It’s believed that the caffeine intake opens up the blood flow to the penis, helping stave off ED.

So, next time you’re at Starbucks, maybe order the venti.
