Conan O'Brien took his TBS show to San Diego Comic-Con this week to claim his rightful place as one of our greatest nerd overlords, and so far he’s not disappointing. Wednesday’s show was his first in San Diego, and rather than just starting with the usual intro, O'Brien and sidekick Andy Richter decided to take their cues from one of the best movies of the year: Mad Max: Fury Road. O'Brien took his love of guitars to the next level as the film’s constantly shredding Doof Warrior, while Richter drove them through the wasteland in an Immortan Joe mask. It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen a talk show host do, and O'Brien’s contemporaries are going to have to work hard to top it.
Your move, Jimmy Fallon.
