The upcoming Supreme and Louis Vuitton collaboration has all the markings of a “break the internet” phenomenon. When the French luxury brand showcased some of the collection in its Fall-Winter 2017 men’s runway show in Paris a couple weeks back, the joke was that hypebeasts would start lining up at Supreme and LV stores immediately even though the pieces won’t come out until later this summer. But if you’re the 11-year-old son of one of the world’s most famous soccer players, such queues aren’t necessary. Cruz Beckham, offspring of David and Victoria, recently took to Instagram to show off one of the most anticipated items, a hoodie adorned with Supreme’s famous box logo and Vuitton’s famous LV monogram print.
David Beckham was seated in the front row at the show next to the immaculate Kate Moss, who coincidentally posed for Supreme in 2012. It would appear that one of the perks of being in the front row is access to the collection before the rest of us plebeians. The elder Beckham was seen wearing a Supreme x Louis Vuitton scarf a few days after the show. Being members of “Team Early” also extends to his children. Cruz posted two photos over the weekend that showed him in the brown sweatshirt.
In the first photo, Cruz sits with a dog alongside the caption, “Thanks @mrkimjones #supreme #louisvuitton 😜”. (At least he’s appreciative). The second image shows Cruz solo in some yellow aviator sunglasses. The two pictures have received more than 162,000 likes so far.
This isn’t the first time that being a child of David Beckham has had its benefits. Last year, his eldest son Brooklyn photographed for a Burberry campaign despite not having much experience, which left many established lensman upset.
