David Guetta has caved to public outcry and will no longer walk a horse into his weekly “F - - k Me I’m Famous” party at megaclub Pacha in Ibiza. Animal lovers reacted strongly to the presence of a horse at a “F - - k Me I’m Famous” party in May, which also included models in Native American attire. As you might have guessed, that was not a popular choice either.
An online petition–which garnered more than 7,000 signatures–read, “The horse has to enter the big Pacha hall at 4 a.m. [with] a huge crowd of people, drunken and drugged, screaming and sweating . . . [it’s] irresponsible to put a horse in the middle of the night under so much stress.”
Rival DJ Deadmau5 also chimed in on Twitter:
for real… horses belong on a farm, not in a shitty overpriced nightclub to be subjected to a shitty overpaid DJ. @pacha— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) July 9, 2015
Guetta’s rep told Page Six the horse was well-cared for at the party in May, but will not be making an appearance in the future. “A horse appeared for three minutes — owned by a vet — and with full ear protection and security at the opening. Just like Bianca Jagger at Studio 54,” the rep said.“The club is too busy now. So no horse.”
