Charity games aren’t exactly the venue to put everything on the line. They’re light and fun; but that didn’t stop Sacramento Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins and Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe from scoring an insane amount of points.
Saturday night’s celebrity “back to school” charity basketball game featured Cousins’s blazing 91 points alongside Bledsoe’s ridiculous 85. The event was actually Bledsoe’s, back in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. He and his crew helped distribute goods to the kids.
“This is a very special day for me to see the smiles on these kids faces when I hand them a book bag and school supplies,” said Bledsoe. “I never had anybody do anything like this for me when I was growing up, but I’m from here and I want to make a difference in the community.”
