Have you seen a white, 2015 Lamborghini Aventador anywhere? (Probably not). But private detective agency Pinkerton is hoping you’ve seen one very specific, expensive lambo recently: The company announced this week that it’s offering a $100,000 reward for tips that lead to the recovery of a stolen Lamborghini Aventador convertible worth $440,000.
The vehicle in question, shown in the picture above, was stolen on Oct. 28th and was last seen in Queens. Although the car was stolen in New York, Pinkerton suspects ties the Atlanta area—although there is also the strong possibility it remains in the New York area, soon to be shipped overseas.
Autoblog notes that the $100,000 bounty is less than a quarter of the vehicle’s purchase price, which is likely what the insurance agency would have to shell out if the Lamborghini and its owner are not reunited.
