Detective Pikachu Has a Thing for Human Women and It’s Really Damn Weird

Detective Pikachu Has a Thing for Human Women and It’s Really Damn Weird:

When Danny DeVito (hopefully) brings the character of Pikachu wearing a deerstalker cap to life some time in the future, he’ll have a few character details to work with, thanks to the Famous Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Partnership official website.

As translated by Gematsu, the website gives us some insights into what kind of sentient electrified mouse solving crimes in the human world Pikachu really is. He’s a take-charge little rodent when it comes to applying deductive reasoning to the evidence on hand, and he has no trouble bossing around you, the player, as his sidekick, a young boy named Tim (yup, in Famous Detective Pikachu, the Pokemon is the boss of you.

In regular life, though, Pikachu is pretty shy. He apparently has trouble asking human women to go on dates with him. It might have something to do with the fact that he wears no clothing other than that cap. So he sends his young boy sidekick to talk to women for him, which seems like a mistake in pretty much all cases.

Hopefully that means the follow-up to Famous Detective Pikachu will be Pikachu’s Awkward Dating Simulator. It’d probably be even weirder than that game about getting rejected by speed-dating pugs.
