A week after the loss of legendary comedian Robin Williams, another iconic voice in entertainment has been silenced. On Monday evening, it was confirmed that NBC’s Don Pardo had died. The 96-year-old announcer had been a staple at the network for 60 years, lending his familiar voice to programs like Jeopardy and The Price is Right. Pardo is, of course, most well known for bellowing the intro to Saturday Night Live week after week for almost the entirety of its broadcast run — nearly 40 years.
