Bible-thumpin’ bearded duck hunter Phil Robertson is at it again.

Robertson, star of the popular “Duck Dynasty” show, has made a name for himself in recent years for spouting off about his strange, bigoted and generally misinformed beliefs to anybody who will listen.

Most recently, Robertson said during a sermon down in the Bayou that you are never going to get a sexually transmitted disease if you practice “Biblically correct sex,” according to CNS News.

So what is “Biblically correct sex?” According to Robertson, it’s when a man marries a woman, and neither of you have an STD, and you “keep your sex between the two of you.” He believes that if this is the kind of sex you participate in, “you’re not going to get chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis [or] AIDS.”

Robertson and his wife have publicly admitted to Robertson having infidelities in the past, before he found God or whatever.

In case you’re nodding your head in agreement with Robertson’s logic, we’ll leave you with this input from research expert Elizabeth Boskey:

“Even if you had undergone regular screening, if you were infected while having sex with a partner who had not been tested in years, there is always the possibility that they were infected asymptomatically a long time before you got together—and just didn’t know it. Even when you are having sex with someone who is infected with an std, you won’t necessarily get infected the first time you sleep together. Particularly if you intermittently practice safe sex, it could take months or even years.”
