Unlike its animated cousins on The Simpsons, Seth MacFarlane’s Family Guy seems to polarize viewers and critics alike. Love it or hate it (and we're in the love camp), this sick, twisted and politically incorrect phenomenon will be remembered as one of the most outrageous and shocking shows of all time. This DVD set contains 13 hilarious episodes from the sixth and seventh seasons and features some fun celebrity appearances, including Johnny Knoxville, Bob Barker, Andy Dick, Seth Rogen, Frank Sinatra Jr. and Barry Manilow. Highlights include the much talked about “Family Gay” episode (wherein patriarch Peter Griffin gets injected with the "gay gene" and starts swinging for the other team) and “Road to Germany” (which features Brian and Stewie time-traveling to 1939 Warsaw and donning the requisite Hitler 'staches). Most of these episodes are the unrated not-for-TV versions, so no bleeps—the characters let the F-bombs fly. The writing is always edgy and witty, with each episode tackling taboos and mocking pop culture with a skill that nearly rivals South Park. Like previous volumes, this is hours of gut-busting laughter.

Best extras: Uncensored commentary on every episode, 29 deleted scenes, and material from three unused episodes with optional commentary. There’s also a featurette called “Family Guy CRIBZ” that tours the offices where the show is made. Your work environment will seem forever boring afterwards.
