Elisabeth Moss is fast becoming prestige television’s secret weapon. She’s already got this year’s Emmy virtually locked up thanks to her devastating turn as Offred in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale. If you’re not watching, well, start.

Now she’s gunning for more hardware in the second season of Top of the Lake, the chilling Australian crime drama from Jane Campion, whose first trailer debuted Thursday. The season—which is subtitled China Girl—finds Moss’ Detective Robin Griffin living in Sydney four years after the events of season one. When the body of a girl washes up on Bondi Beach, it’s up to Griffin to find out whodunnit.

Easy, right? Well, if the first season—which chronicled Griffin’s search for a pregnant 12-year-old girl is any indication—season two will be much more complex than a simple by-the-numbers procedural. Griffin is also trying to reconnect with her adopted daughter, which gets complicated when Nicole Kidman shows up as the girl’s adoptive mother.

Kidman is also having something of a moment. She stunned in HBO’s Big Little Lies, and looks to have one of the juiciest roles of the summer as a devious headmistress in Sofia Coppola’s upcoming revenge thriller The Beguiled. Watching her duke it out with Moss in season two of ToTL figures to be one of the highlights of 2017.

Look for Top of The Lake: China Girl on the Sundance Channel later this year. Watch the trailer below.
