Every Oscars Host Ever, Ranked

Every Oscars Host Ever, Ranked:

It’s a thankless task, of course, hosting the Oscars — but some of them are (much) better at it than others. This ranking of everyone who has ever hosted (or co-hosted) an Academy Awards ceremony is based entirely around my desire to see them do the job again, when they were in their prime. Like, can you imagine Richard Pryor, at the top of his game, hosting the Oscars? Mind. Fucking. Blown.

The pressure might be on for this year’s host Neil Patrick Harris, but looking at the list — he doesn’t have to work that hard to crack the top 20.
