We couldn’t help but take notice of first time Playboy.com model Rachel Shine. We sat down with Cyber Club’s newest model to find out what she thought of her first experience, what keeps her body toned, and what it was like meeting Hugh Hefner.
Playboy.com: This is first time you’ve posed for Playboy, what inspired you to do so?
This is the first time I’ve posed but I was also put on the website when I tried out for the LA casting calls. This is the first official shoot and video I’ve done. I’ve always wanted to model for Playboy ever since I turned 18, and I was always aware of when their casting calls were going to be so I made a couple of connections with Playboy and they got me in.
Playboy.com: What did you love most about the experience?
I really loved the crew that was there. I actually knew the photographer that shot me already. He comes out and shoots for the Playboy TV stuff. I also liked the studio we were in. I think the neighbors could actually see the shoot and see what was going on, so that was kind of funny. We were being exhibitionists.
Playboy.com: In your Cyber Club video you show off some sexy yoga moves, do you practice often?
I’ve been doing yoga for about 3 years, I love it, it’s a part of my life. I do it three to four times a week if I can and I have a lot of flexibility because of it. I only do the hot yoga because I like to sweat it out. It keeps me toned and is really good for my complexion. I’ve been getting pretty good!
Playboy.com: What was meeting Hugh Hefner like?
I met him when I did my first casting when I met Hugh Hefner. He came to the casting and got his photos taken he’s quiet but you can tell he’s nice, he smiles at all the girls.
Playboy.com: What is your latest obsession?
Really fun socks! I brought a bunch of my funky socks to my recent shoot. Some are fluffy and I just wear them around my house and then others like the thigh high ones I like to wear with my heels when I go out.
Playboy.com: What do you do when you’re not modeling for Playboy.com?
I go to school so I’m usually in class. I also work at a bikini bar or I’m hanging out with my animals because I have a cat a dog a parrot and a hamster. I’m an animal lover.
Playboy.com: What is your ultimate goal in school?
My long term goal is to become a psychologist and my short term goal is that I’m trying to get my pharmacist technician license. I make A’s and B’s in school, so it’s going well.
Playboy.com: What were you like in high school?
I was a wild child in high school but I’ve definitely mellowed out. The first time I went to the Playboy Mansion I was 19 so I started getting into modeling as soon as I was old enough. I started meeting people at the different shoots in LA so I got into the scene at a young age. I think because of that I’m more mellow as an adult.
Playboy.com: What is some advice you think everyone should take?
I think everyone should live every day to its fullest. I know it’s kind of cliché but it’s true. Don’t sweat the small stuff, try just to have a good time and positive attitude no matter what you’re doing and know that tomorrow is going to be better.
