Everyone knows Sophie Turner as the often-underestimated but surprisingly cunning Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, but these days Turner’s using her Game of Thrones downtime to move from Westeros to Westchester as the new Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse.

“But wait, I thought Famke Janssen played Jean Grey in those movies…” Well, she did, but for Apocalypse – which follows up the ‘70s-set Days of Future Past – director Bryan Singer is taking the X-Men to the 1980s, which means he needs a younger Jean. So, Turner landed the gig as the resident ginger telepath of the team, and yesterday Singer dropped the first image from the set of her and co-star Lana Condor (as Jubilee) in their finest '80s mall outfits.

Adorable, isn’t it? They could fight Magneto and then hit a Tiffany concert afterwards. And how great is it to see Sansa Stark smiling for once? She needed this little food court break.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016.
