2017 is about to get Foxy.

Hulu is bringing the 1970s Blaxploitation hero Foxy Brown to the streamosphere, with Anchorman 2’s Meagan Good—recently seen in the small-screen version of Minority Report—stepping into the ass-kicking shoes worn by Pam Grier in the iconic 1974 movie.

Deadline reports that Good will serve as a producer on the new show, with her husband DeVon Franklin’s production company (helpfully called Franklin Productions) partnering with Tony Krantz, the man who helped bring Twin Peaks and The West Wing to screens.

The new series will reportedly update the character, who spent the original movie seeking revenge for the murder of her boyfriend… albeit in a roundabout manner that saw her kidnapped and abused by modern-day slavers before she escaped and teamed up with quasi-Black Panthers to try and end the drug trade in her neighborhood. (It’s a very strange movie.) A lot for Good & co. to work with—and a lot to reimagine.
