Yesterday our Gamer Next Door took us through this year's E3 conference. Today she compares the two most talked about consoles: the PS4 and Xbox One.
The latest console war is alive and well. With major changes taking place after E3, Xbox One has proved that even though it doesn’t have the popular vote at this time, it won’t die without a good fight. As you may know, Microsoft has changed the Xbox One policies after the intense outcry that took place in and around E3, promising that an internet connection will no longer be required to play games on Xbox One (meaning you don’t need to be plugged into the internet for 24 hours a day) and users can share, play, resell and rent games just like they have been able to on Xbox 360. You can even play your downloaded games offline. While these are all things we can already do with our Xbox 360, it’s good to see that a major company is listening to its users and taking into account the feedback we send about their product.
But let’s get to the fun stuff: the war between PlayStation fans vs. Xbox lifers. At E3 this was obviously the topic of many heated discussions, and Pamela found two guys to battle out their differences in the name of gamer unity. Is there any other place in the world that you’ll find a Playmate of the Month to mediate your console debates? Probably not.
Check out what Pamela has to say about the consoles at E3 and be sure to check back for our game highlights.
