In a new video from Reebok’s #PerfectNever campaign, Gigi Hadid’s boxing trainer Rob Piela has her hold a plank while he interviews her. Anyone who has ever struggled to stay in plank position will feel Hadid’s pain as she tries to keep her hips in line with the rest of her body while answering questions like, “What’s the first thought you have when you wake up in the morning?”
When Hadid started working with Reebok back in October, she said, “Working out isn’t only physical for me. It’s mental. It helps me escape the noise in my head. It’s the only time my mind goes quiet.” The 21-year-old model is probably getting paid a ton of money to be a Reebok spokesperson, and this video proves she works hard to earn it—especially considering that they probably had to do several takes. As the questions keep coming, Hadid’s voice shakes from the effort of holding her body in place.
Despite Hadid’s fame, her answers are surprisingly relatable. Her first thoughts in the morning are, “Can I stay in bed longer? Do I have to get on a plane today? What’s for breakfast?” (OK, maybe only two out of three are relatable for those of us who don’t travel to and from exotic locations on a daily basis.)
