Seems like all the big online games are getting festive for Halloween. For players of Guitar Hero Live, this means a stream of Halloween-ish songs to thrash through.

The tracks and their accompanying music videos are showing up on “Guitar Hero TV,” the half of the game that lets players play through a constant stream of songs that are based on themes and arranged in programming blocks, sort of like old-school MTV. Players tune to one of two channels and can play along to music videos as they come up.

The 12-track “Halloween Rocks!” playlist will show up at various times through the rest of the week. Find it on 7 p.m. Thursday, 3 a.m., 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, 3 a.m., 9 a.m., 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Halloween and 12:30 a.m., 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Also, it’s worth keeping in mind that you can play Tenacious D’s “Tribute,” possibly the baddest-ass of all badass rock songs that also include a demon, whenever you want on Guitar Hero TV.
