Thank you, Sports Illustrated. Thank you. Thank you for giving the people what they want, even if they didn’t know they wanted it. Henry Ford once said, “If I had asked the people what they wanted, they’d have said faster horses.” Ford was, of course, referring to his invention of the automobile, but the point remains true none the less. People often times don’t even know they want something until you show them how much they need it.
Recently, Sports Illustrated announced a Summer Series edition of their famous swimsuit special. The yearly special has become a huge deal, each year skyrocketing the careers of beautiful young models, while simultaneously making every man on the planet look like idiots who smile to themselves while reading a magazine. So, Sports Illustrated did the logical things and will be releasing another one now. Two is better than one. We’re one step closer to this being a weekly thing! Keeping in their streak of making great decisions, they’ve chosen to feature model Hannah Ferguson. Take and look for yourself and decide if that was a good call.
