The Harvard Business School produces the high-powered CEOs that run our nation’s most important corporations. So you’d think their professors would be well-compensated for their services. But this email chain seems to suggest otherwise.

Ben Edelman, an associate professor at Harvard, ordered Chinese food from a local restaurant. After receiving his meal, he discovered he had been charged $4 more than he should’ve. So he did what any rational, elitist Ivy League professor would do: Threaten to report the restaurant to the authorities unless he got his $4 back. Here’s the back-and-forth between Edelman and Ran Duan, who is either the manager of the Chinese restaurant or one of the world’s most dastardly criminals depending on who you ask.

I’m guessing Edelman’s not an easy grader.
