When you’re a photographer with a knack for camping stuck in a 9-5 job at a local building company, you’re bound to get really antsy in your cubicle. But instead of only using weekends to go on adventures, 28-year-old Henrik Vikse decided to quit his job and make his entire life an adventure with the help of his badass husky.
“Imagine being all alone, just you and your pup, and you look up and there’s a billion stars and you can sleep where ever you want,” Vikse explains. “I love skiing at night, under the stars and far away from any city lights. Those moments I have always chased.”
And that’s exactly what Vikse does. Him and his part malamute part Greenland and part Alaskan husky named Akiak backpack all over their native land of Norway.
When I asked him how long he planned on traveling he simply responded, “good question — until I die.”
The result? Super stunning photos of the Norwegian landscape featuring Akiak and other dogs they meet on their adventures.

Pretty amazing, 10000 followers, and not to mention all the virtual attention out there! Thanks alot you guys! Shared a picture from winter, we had a little hike in the middle of the night around the camp, If u wonder why he has a leash on its because it was a mushingdog meeting not far away, so cant have him run to his friends 👌
