Demi Lovato is something of a force. To prove it, the singer, actress, and former Disney star shared a video with her 57.4 million Instagram followers that features her Jiu Jitsu moves with trainer Danielle Martin (a World Champion, Pan American, and National Champion, no less).

Martin, a Black Belt, founded True Boundaries to help individuals protect themselves “from the inside out,” by aligning the mental (intuition, instinct, and inner confidence) with the physical (defensive positions and jiu-jitsu moves).

Lovato has been a vocal advocate of self-love, confidence, and self-care. Back in February, Lovato also showed off her moves, taking (post-Wilmer Valderrama) beau MMA Fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos to the floor.

Lovato appears to be on a bit of a winning streak as of late, having just been named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People for 2017. In addition, “No Promises,” Lovato’s new song with Cheat Codes, has been an instant hit.

Lovato has also just announced she is set to star in a documentary, “I Am: Demi Lovato,” which will be released exclusively on YouTube later this year. According to People, the documentary will provide a behind-the-scenes look at Lovato recording her latest album.

Also exclusive to YouTube will be the series “Best Cover Ever,” a Ryan Seacrest production, in which Lovato will appear (along with Ludacris, Jason Derulo, and The Backstreet Boys), where contestants will compete for a chance to perform a duet with a music superstar.

Lovato has already served as executive producer of the documentary “Beyond Silence,” which followed three individuals living with various forms of mental illness. She also serves as a spokesperson to the support organization Be Vocal.

On a lighthearted note, it’s clear Lovato’s work-outs are having multiple positive effects. In addition to the immeasurable returns, we can’t help but think all the training is helping her look like this.

Thank you Dallas!! Miss you already!!!
