In case you were feeling bad for Dwyane Wade now that LeBron James left him and the Miami Heat to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, don’t. Remember, this is still the man that shares a bed with Gabrielle Union. And while LeBron was announcing his new sneaker, Wade was launching a new luxury watch, the Hublot Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade.
The limited-edition watch has a 45mm case that is constructed out of polished black ceramic. D-Wade’s logo is featured on the dial at 3 o'clock and his signature is printed at 6 o'clock. (So you get a free Dwyane Wade autograph with purchase. Kind of.) The colors of the Miami Heat are reflected in the red and black details.
This is Wade’s second watch collaboration with Hublot. In 2011, he released a sportier watch, the King Power Dwyane Wade.
For the latest version, Wade was the guest of honor at a dinner in New York that was attended by fashion photographer Bruce Weber and Alonzo Mourning. He even got a cake (Mmm, cake!) shaped like the watch.
The Hublot Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade will be limited to 250 pieces. You can see a video of the watch on Hublot’s website.
