The very existence of the Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) Race should rattle your bones. It’s more than a century old, and faster engines have only made the Snaefell Mountain Course crazier. Now, we have Michael Dunlop apparently making the decision to destroy all previous lap records with a 133.393 mph attack on the road, besting the old course record by 1m 15.643s. Officials will have to test him—not for drugs, but to make sure he’s human—because that kind of focus and balance grants demigod status at least.
