J.J. Abrams, who desperately wants to not be called Jar Jar Abrams for the rest of his career, told Jon Stewart on The Daily Show last night all about how he has suffered for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Apparently, the director broke his L4 while trying to lift a space door on set. Abrams joked that the presence of Harrison Ford—in all his Hans Solo glory—made him feel fairly lame in comparison. “I felt like the most nebbishy Jewish director ever,” Abrams said, before breaking into a surprisingly great Woody Allen impression.
Abrams appeared on the Comedy Central show to promote Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, which we all care about much less than Star Wars. You can watch the full interview below.
