While it’s pretty certain that you will never drive — let alone own — James Bond’s latest Aston Martin, there is a possession of the fictional British spy that you could, at least in theory, buy.

The shiny object in question is a stainless steel Rolex Submariner 5513 that Sir Roger Moore wore in the 1973 film Live and Let Die. In the movie, Bond used the watch not just as a timepiece, but also as a tool for seduction: It was fitted with a magnet and used to unzip the dress of Miss Caruso, played by Madeline Smith.

Next week, Geneva auction house Phillips will sell the watch in a two-day sale for an expected minimum of at least $150,000. The watch bears signs of age — the hands, and some marks on the dial, have yellowed a touch. But that’s part of the vintage piece’s charm.
