Fresh off of word that the world’s favorite secret agent will be re-imagined in the pages of a comic book comes news of Bond’s next challenge: a stage musical.

Yes, Merry Saltzman, daughter of iconic Bond-film producer Harry Saltzman, has informed Playbill that she’s acquired the rights to bring 007 to Broadway.

For now, the show will be titled James Bond: the Musical, with a book adaptation of the story that will include new characters and story set to accompany it. The production is aiming for a 2017 or early 2018 release in New York or Las Vegas.

No word yet on what direction this new iteration of 007 might take on, but we imagine it’ll be a lot of this, with a lot of singing and explosions over it.
