If you’ve ever wanted to drink a beer that looks like antifreeze, today’s your lucky day. Blue Beer, made for the past five years at Japan’s Hokkaido Abashiri Brewery, is now available to order in the U.S.
But don’t expect to get chemical poisoning: The all-natural beer gets its neon hue from blue seaweed and melted icebergs collected from the Sea of Okhotsk. Other ingredients include local flowers and Chinese yams, which give the beer a thick, icy head. The beer supposedly tastes crisp and light, which is weirdly how people describe the taste of antifreeze too.
