A few weeks ago, when a new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens made us all freak out, we were assured by director J.J. Abrams and by Disney’s marketing arm that it was the “final” trailer. Aside from a few TV spots, maybe some posters, and whatever tie-in products Disney has yet to launch, it was supposed to be our last glimpse of the film before its December 18 release date.

Lucky for us, the film still has to be promoted in various international markets, and often those markets get trailers of their own. Today, we got to see Japan’s, and it’s…pretty great. It features some of the same footage and dialogue from the trailer we got last month, but there are also some beautiful new shots, including TIE Fighters silhouetted against the sun, a new look at Rey (Daisy Ridley) and BB-8 actually interacting, Rey and Finn (John Boyega) learning each other’s names (as far as I know, it’s the first time we’ve actually heard those names out loud in official footage), and perhaps most exciting, Rey talking about waiting for her family, which will no doubt serve to further fuel speculation that she represents the next generation of the Skywalker clan. Oh, and Carrie Fisher looks like a total badass Space Queen.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives next month.
