If you’re as obsessed with your pet as Jennifer Lawrence is, you’ll appreciate her new idea for an app. On The Late Late Show last night, she and James Corden pitched app ideas to Silicon Valley actor T.J. Miller. She would like an app “where you see what you and your dog’s baby would look like.” She confesses that she was drunk when she first had the idea but says she’s not joking around. “This is a very real app. I want to hammer that in.”

She explains the concept, and it’s pretty straightforward. “Take a picture of yourself, a picture of the dog, and the whole key to this app idea is it’s all in the details. It has to be very real. They sent me one prototype, and it’s like me with dog ears and a snout, and I’m like ‘No.’ It’s all about the features.” C’mon, app developers. Help a girl out!

The fact that Jennifer Lawrence is curious what her dog/human-hybrid baby would look like is no surprise after her Vanity Fair interview last month. She has a custom painting of her Chihuahua mix, Pippi Longstocking, above her fireplace, and said, “I am a psychotic dog mom in a way that I am genuinely embarrassed about. If I could put her inside me and give birth to her I would.”

While medical science is always making advances, this dog-baby dream is more likely to come true in app form.
