1. Did being a Playmate help or hurt your sex life?

MCCARTHY: Without a doubt it helped. I seemed to have more choices available to me. When you have that kind of title, men's ears—and other things—perk up.

2. What's your favorite part of a guy?

MCCARTHY: I'm really big on abs. I don't like a muscle monster, but a lean, surfer-style stomach is hot.

3. You write about maternity in your book Belly Laughs. Did pregnancy increase your libido?

MCCARTHY: I wouldn't be intimate with my husband, but I was raging horny. I didn't want my husband to see how fat I was, so we did not really have sex. I just basically had it on my own time.

4. What's the best time of day to have sex?

MCCARTHY: Morning, without a doubt. You don't even have to sneak out and brush your teeth first. Just wake up and put a pillow over your head.

5. Do you like to talk dirty while making love?

MCCARTHY: I have to, because my husband loves it. I'm constantly going into the dirty dictionary to think of something to say. After being married for five years, you've been through every possible thing.
