Comedian Jerrod Carmichael’s first HBO special, Love At The Store, directed by Spike Lee, premieres tomorrow night. “Love,” however does not seem to be the prevailing theme – unless it’s the man-boy love between Michael Jackson and his alleged victims, whom Carmichael argues should brag about receiving the gloved one’s creepy touch.

And so it goes: forgiving Woody Allen, appreciating slavery, dismissing poor people, rape – these are all subjects the Neighbors player geeks out on with barely contained glee. If you like having your liberal buttons pushed, this special might turn you on. Otherwise, you might find yourself reaching for a different button entirely.
