‘Idiotsitter’ stars Jillian Bell and Charlotte Newhouse Take on Playboy’s Lucky 7: Comedy Central

Comedy Central

“Break my fucking hand, Billie. If you love me, if you’re my best friend, you will break my hand.”

These words, from the last minutes of Idiotsitter’s first episode as a full-blown Comedy Central series, should give you a sense of the deranged relationship that drives the show. The premise is deceptively familiar: A grad-school poindexter is hired to look after a younger woman with a criminal record and an ankle monitor. But co-creators and stars Jillian Bell (who plays Gene, the criminal) and Charlotte Newhouse (Billie, the nerd) bring the evergreen Odd Couple dynamic roaring into 2016, complete with house parties, porn, peyote and a stolen pony named Ice Cream.

With the show premiering tonight (Thursday) at 10:30/9:30 CT on Comedy Central and on the CC app, we’re pleased to share the Idiotsitter Lucky 7 questionnaire. Read on and learn what slang word Newhouse hates, what Bell would order for her last meal and more.

What was your first encounter with Playboy?
Jillian Bell: I think at my friend Lauren’s house. Her dad had a stash of them, and they were ‘70s edition. The best of the Playboy years.
Charlotte Newhouse: This.

What movie scared you the most as a kid?
Charlotte: The Exorcist, but the scariest character to me was Zelda from Pet Cemetary.
Jillian: None. I loved scary movies and I still love them.

What’s your pop-culture blind spot?
Charlotte: The Bachelor/Bachelorette stuff. Never seen a one.
Jillian: Millenial slang like “on fleek.”
Charlotte: But you just said it, so you’re not totally blind.
Jillian: But I found out about it way late and I still think it’s stupid.

Let’s pretend you’re on death row. What’s your last meal?
Jillian: Cream Cheese wontons, hummus, fries and a donut.
Charlotte: I don’t know, that list just made me a little sick.

Who was your first celebrity crush?
Jillian: Donnie Wahlberg.
Charlotte: Eddie Vedder.

If you could commit one consequence-free crime, what would it be?
Charlotte: I don’t know, rob a rich person’s house?
Jillian: Rob a bunch of banks cause I’m not idiot enough to rob one person’s house.

What’s the biggest lie you ever told?
Jillian: I’ve never lied. When I was younger I was a goody two-shoes. Are men jerking off to this right now?
Charlotte: The first question. I love me a good Playboy.

Watch Idiotsitter tonight at 10:30/9:30 CT on Comedy Central and on the CC app.
