One would imagine that being buddies with Kanye West isn’t always the easiest thing. On the track “Real Friends” from The Life of Pablo West laments he has trust issues, and he’s been known to throw supposed friends like Jay Z and Drake under the bus during his concert sermons/rants. But if you’re on his good side, West can certainly be a friend with benefits, as wrestling legend Ric Flair recently found out.

The Nature Boy posted an image on Twitter that showed him relaxing on a couch surrounded by five pair of coveted Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 sneakers.

Flair is often name-checked in lyrics by another F.O.K. (Friend of Kanye) Pusha T, which might explain the reason for the gift, or perhaps West is just a fan of the stylin’ profilin’ master of the figure four leg lock. Either way, Flair is now the owner of the extremely limited Zebra colorway of the Yeezys, which are now reselling for more than $2,000.

It is interesting to note that Flair doesn’t actually wear the Yeezys in any of the pictures, opting instead for a pair of leather driving loafers. Hopefully, Kanye got the wrestling legend’s size right.

Flair isn’t the first dignitary to be graced with Yeezys, courtesy of Mr. West. In 2015, Kim Kardashian dropped off pairs of the original Yeezy 350 Boost and the Yeezy 750 for then-president Barack Obama. So, for those of you keeping score at home, leaders of the free world receive two pairs of kicks, wrestlers who say “Whooo” a lot get five.
