Dedicated connoisseur of sheer clothing Kendall Jenner took nudity to the next level tonight when she walked the red carpet at the Met Gala – a.k.a. the most important red carpet of the year for fashion folks – wearing a sheer, shimmering mesh gown made by Italian luxury lingerie house La Perla. This year’s theme is entitled, “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between,” honoring the Japanese designer and her avant-garde designs, so the choice is relatively appropriate. Then again, this isn’t the first time Jenner has bared nearly everything in public. It’s kind of her thing. Back in February, she modeled a different sheer gown on the La Perla runway, and last year, she wore a see-through couture dress to the Cannes Film Festival. While Jenner isn’t shy about showing her nipples, she sometimes enjoys covering them with sparkly pasties or pizza slices before sharing pics on Instagram.

Here’s a look at Jenner’s Met Gala dress, which features a slit from her shoulder to her hip, and another one from her hip to the floor:

Considering how little Jenner wore tonight, one can’t help wondering what she’ll wear to the Met Gala in the future. If she continues this trend of wearing less and less, she’ll eventually be walking the red carpet naked—not that her followers will mind.
